1Resource Group is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Technician . As a Warehouse Technician you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately performing a broad range of warehouse duties related to the receipt, shipment, storage, distribution or delivery of products and general warehouse maintenance. Based on our small team environment, dependability is critical, including the ability to work overtime when needed. This is a day shift position.
Key Responsibilities :
Receiving / Stocking :
- Count product and verify against packing list
- Accurately receive product utilizing RF scan gun and / or in accordance with procedures
- Reports and notes of shortages or damage
- Organize / stage items in preparation for stocking or shipping
- Load, unload, move or store product according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions
- Verify proper placement (bin location) and stock product accordingly
- Rotate and replenish stock as required
Picking / Packing :
Using an RF scan gun, pull orders accurately by verifying location and part number against RF gun and picklist.Meet minimum pick rate of 20 lines per hour pickedStage pulled orders in appropriate staging areas : freight, ground, will callReports and notes inventory discrepancies to lead associates for additional researchOther duties :
Organize and complete appropriate paperwork relating to the receipt, storage, or distribution of materialsExercise general warehouse maintenance to ensure cleanliness / appearance / safetyContinually exercise precautions to protect warehouse contents again damage or lossEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with internal / external customersCross train and perform back-up duties for other warehouse associates as requestedComplete equipment inspection checklists daily, prior to use of equipment.Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with team members and internal / external customers.Complies with all company policies / procedures and safety guidelinesEnsure work areas are organized efficiently while maintaining security / safety measures.Upholds company productivity, quality, and safety standards.Performs all other duties as assigned.Work hours would be 7 : 30am – 4 : 30pm with 1hr lunch.
Pay range $17-19 DOE

Education Requirements : High School diploma or GED.
Minimum Qualifications :
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of one-year general warehouse experienceAble to drive and safely operate a forklift, stock picker and electronic pallet jack in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.178Experience using bar code readers, computer terminals (computer literate) and / or other electronic devicesSolid mathematical abilities / aptitudeCapable of working at a fast pace, with excellent time management skillsSelf-motivated, self-reliant, able to work with little directionReliable / dependable (prompt, with good attendance)Capable of multi-tasking and flexible to change direction or focus as priorities dictateCertifications, Licenses, Registration : Previous license operating a forklift AND stock picker.
