POSITION SUMMARY :

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple dispensary locations, ensuring compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, driving sales performance, and maintaining operational excellence. This role involves mentoring and managing store managers, implementing standard operating procedures, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience across all locations. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills, regulatory knowledge, and a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality service.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Retail Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee and regularly travel to multiple dispensary locations to ensure business operations are managed consistently, efficiently, and strive for operational excellence.
  • Monitor compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, including inventory tracking and security protocols.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all locations.
  • Conduct routine site visits to evaluate compliance, cleanliness, and policy adherence.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Collaborate with marketing and store teams to execute promotions and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Set and monitor sales targets for each dispensary, ensuring they are met while maintaining compliance standards.

    • Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and train store managers and frontline staff, fostering an environment of growth and development.
  • Provide leadership and ongoing support to managers, ensuring budtenders are appropriately trained.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, establish goals, and implement improvement plans as needed.

    • Customer Experience & Consistency

  • Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer experiences across all locations.
  • Train teams on compliance, customer service best practices, and product knowledge.
  • Address customer concerns and implement improvements based on feedback to enhance satisfaction.

    • Inventory Management

  • Ensure the proper implementation of inventory control systems and compliance tracking.
  • Guide store managers in accurate inventory ordering based on store-specific needs.
  • Conduct and oversee regular store audits to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance.

    • WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Employees work in a professional retail setting with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Exposure to cannabis product odors and handling under strict regulations is common.
  • Security measures and adherence to legal compliance are essential.
  • Schedules may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Extensive travel.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires bending and reaching
  • Must be able to stand for minimum four (4) hours at a time
  • Must be able to use a step ladder

    • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience as a regional or multi-unit retail manager (cannabis industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills.
