A company is looking for an Associate Engineer to support the Consular Appointment Management Platform (CAMP) program at the U.S. Department of State.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, coding, and testing of CAMP features under the guidance of senior engineers
Support integration of CAMP with other Department of State systems, focusing on reliability and compliance
Write and maintain testable, accessible code that meets federal cybersecurity and Section 508 accessibility standards
Required Qualifications
Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)
2+ years of related experience in software engineering, development, or systems integration preferred
Basic knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Java, C#)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) or eagerness to learn
