Underwriter-Crop Intern (Summer 2026-MN)

The purpose of this role is to support a designated business by undertaking operational or administrative work, contributing to the team's work agenda under close supervision. The role aims to provide practical work knowledge of the general insurance industry and exposure to business areas within the organization.

This internship will be based out of the Ramsey, MN office and will require 4 days in the office. The opportunity : As a Crop Underwriting Intern, you'll receive hands-on training and real-world experience in a supportive and positive environment. You'll work closely with one of our crop insurance underwriting teams, gaining exposure to :

• MPCI (Multiple Peril Crop Insurance) - covering a wide range of risks like drought, flood, and disease.
• Crop Hail Insurance - protecting farmers against damage caused by hailstorms.

This internship is designed to help you build foundational knowledge in crop insurance while contributing to meaningful work that supports farmers and the company's success.

Location : Ramsey, MN

Work Arrangement : This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the Ramsey, MN office 4 days per week. The pay rate for this role is between $20.00 and $21.00 an hour.
