Commercial Sales Estimator
As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team in the Cincinnati / Dayton area. You will combine your analytical skills with your sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sell and estimate commercial roofing jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, communicate with business owners or property managers
- Write picking list, order materials, arrange for permits
- Make sure customers are aware of our referral programs
- Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors and other local avenues of business
Qualifications
Experience in the following installation types : EPDM, TPO, and PVC membrane roofingFamiliarity with modified, shingle roofing, and metal standing seam roofingAbility to read drawings and spec books, or willingness to learn quickly in order to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposalsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to communicate with business owners and property managers on a professional levelRequirements
High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's licensePass a background checkAbility to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.1-2 years customer service experienceConstruction / roofing industry experience preferred2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)Compensation & Benefits
