About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Profession : Nursing

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12.5 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg experience

License : Massachusetts Nursing License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be current)

Must-Have :

• Telemetry experience required
• Willingness to float to any Med Surg unit
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred
• Personal scrubs of any color

Description :

Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload.

Requests for time off after upload will not be approved.

No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.

For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following options :

Thanksgiving and the following Friday / weekend.

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the following Friday / weekend.

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the following Friday / weekend.

Extensions that are requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered.

Travelers must include their agency's temporary nursing service agency license upfront with submissions.

Profiles will not be presented without this information.

Profiles will not be accepted if marked as "anytime" for interview availability.

A permanent address must be included in the profile upload to avoid delays in processing.

COVID vaccination (dose date on or after October 3, 2023) is now a requirement.

Exemption forms are available and must include provider / religious leader signatures.

If approved for exemption, travelers will be required to wear a mask at all times while on site.

The unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds, depending on the unit.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 6, typically.

Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed.
