• Monitor and assess patients closely throughout labor and delivery, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates for optimal safety.\n
• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, assisting with deliveries, and managing pain relief.\n
• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process, options, and essential postpartum care.\n
• Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, midwives, and the entire healthcare team to facilitate a seamless birth experience.\n
• Accurately document patient information through all labor and delivery stages.\n
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any emergencies or complications following established protocols.\n
• Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control guidelines and hospital standards.\n\nQualifications for the Registered Nurse : \n
• Active New Mexico RN license (required).\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.\n
• Required certifications : BLS and ACLS.\n
• Strong clinical expertise with an ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.\n
