We are seeking an experienced Pricing Actuary for a short-term contract assignment with a highly respected insurance organization. This role centers on evaluating rate adequacy, reviewing regulatory filings, and supporting a broad-based pricing study. Requirements :

ACAS or FCAS designation (or international equivalent)

7+ years of experience in pricing and ratemaking

Strong background in commercial lines (BOP, General Liability, Umbrella / Excess)

Proficiency in regulatory rate filings and actuarial tools

Experience analyzing third-party data sources and competitor benchmarks

Preferred : Familiarity with ISO filings, risk analyzer tools, GLMs, R, Python, or SQL

Description :

Evaluate current pricing structures and support rate adequacy reviews

Analyze regulatory filings for compliance and opportunity

Support a cross-functional Pricing Study to assess profitability and market positioning

Incorporate external data into rating models and methodology

Communicate findings to leadership and cross-departmental teams

Collaborate with Underwriting, Product, and Regulatory teams

Provide technical support for related actuarial projects
