The Spectacles design team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across generations of Spectacles products. This team of multi-disciplinary designers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring augmented reality to life. What you’ll do : Knowledge, skills & abilities :

• Strong 2D & 3D skills
• Ability to generate ideas and execute them throughout with clear value to users and within engineering constraints
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working on multiple types of visual mediums
• Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to explore new territory and challenges
• Excellent collaboration and communication skillsMinimum qualifications :
• BS / BA degree or equivalent years of experience
• 3+ years of design experiencePreferred qualifications :
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design work
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and / or other design tools
• Proficiency with 3D Modeling software (Blender, Maya etc)
• Experience in concept art (2D or 3D), storyboarding
• Experience developing, documenting and implementing a visual language
• Experience with Unity, Lens Studio or UE
• Up-to-date with the latest trends

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future. : The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$235,000 annually. : The base salary range for this position is $149,000-$223,000 annually. : The base salary range for this position is $133,000-$200,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.We're looking for a Visual Designer to join the Spectacles design team!
• Architect ambitious and often ambiguous design projects that will set precedent for the rest of the industry
• Work on an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from emerging 3D and AR technology to iconography systems across our applications
• Collaborate with prototypers, product designers, engineers, and artists to solve complex problems, translate strategic goals into relevant solutions, and build world class experiences
• Help lead visual strategy and define principles and systems that help connect innovative product design with our engaging and playful brand
• Design innovative interfaces and AR experiences that push boundaries
• Evolve the look and feel of the Spectacles interface
• Make 2D and 3D assets from various concepts into assets for operating system, interactive experience and other aspects of the Spectacles interface
• Seek out and utilize emerging technologies to scale the impact of the Spectacles design team
