Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in and around the Grand Rapids, MI area . This is a full time opportunity, with a pay range of up to $35 / hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope :

• Assemble machines using both machined and purchased components
• Build and wire junction boxes and connect electrical components
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Perform precision measurements and use appropriate measuring tools
• Use basic hand tools and power tools for assembly and fitting

Safely operate shop equipment including :

Drill press

Small mill

Band saw

Responsibilities

Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics

Proficient in measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes

Experience with heavy rigging and safe material handling practices

Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes
