job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBonuses Paid via direct deposit weekly Paid Orientation Foot in the door - Potential to roll into a permanent role after the season Consistent and flexible schedules Commitment to driver safety and success Positive Work Environment Fast track hiring Home daily Local deliveries - New England service area Shift : Multiple shifts available Days of week vary This is a seasonal role typically running through December Freight includes a mix of pallet deliveries and drop-and-hook operations Dry Van trailers Newer & reliable equipment Automatic Transmission Must be at least 23 years of age Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years Availability to work for the full duration of the seasonal assignment Minimum 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military experience) Clean driving record (MVR, PSP, prior employment) DOT-compliant : drug screening, medical qualifications, and current physical certification Ability to read, write, and speak English in compliance with DOT regulations Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and safety procedures Effective communication and teamwork skills High attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures Physical stamina for extended periods of driving, plus the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities Must live within 30 miles of Bellingham, MA Manual Dexterity : Frequent use of hands and feet to operate vehicles, controls, and equipment. Heavy Lifting : Occasional lifting, carrying, and securing cargo, sometimes over 50 lbs. Extended Sitting : Long periods of sitting while operating vehicles for multiple days. Focus & Navigation : Continuous concentration on driving, navigation, and situational awareness. Variable Hours : Work may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and overnight trips. Weather Exposure : Loading and unloading operations may occur in various weather conditions. Climbing & Balancing : Entering / exiting truck cabs and trailers and securing cargo safely. Safety Compliance : Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of protective equipment. Transportation
NRS is seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A local dry van seasonal driver in Bellingham, MA . This job will consist of local deliveries, which will get you home daily. Drivers must be comfortable with city driving. This is a seasonal role with potential to roll into a permanent role after the season
Compensation :
- Average Weekly Pay : $1,300 to $1,400
Hourly Rate : $32.50 per hour
OT paid after 40 hours
