The Role
StarRez, Inc. is seeking a Legal Operations and Contracts Administrator with strong legal operations capabilities, a proactive mindset, and a passion for structure, clarity, and continuous improvement. You will serve as a key member of the StarRez Legal team, responsible for administering the contract lifecycle, managing contract workflows, and implementing operational best practices across our global legal function. In this role, you will supervise a Contracts Administrator, serve as the system administrator for our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, Lexion, and prepare legal performance metrics for reporting to the VP of Legal and executive leadership.

Role Specifics
- Work Location : Remote (US)
- Travel : Less than 5% (The percentage of travel is an estimation, and it could vary based on business needs.)
- Reporting Structure : This role reports to the Vice President, Legal.
What You Will Own
Act as the primary administrator of the Lexion CLM system, supporting ongoing configuration, workflows, template updates, and user onboarding.Oversee, train, and manage a global contracts administrator, ensuring alignment with StarRez contracting policies and workflows.Own the contract intake process, including triage, prioritization, and assignment of new legal review requests.Maintain the legal intake email box, respond to internal inquiries, and provide timely updates on contract status.Facilitate contract execution, including e-signature coordination, version control, and secure storage.Conduct post-signature reviews to ensure contractual obligations are tracked.Prepare monthly and quarterly legal operations reports, including contract lifecycle metrics, turnaround time analysis, and risk flagging trends to include ensuring DOMO reporting is accurate.Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability of legal operations.Maintain a system of record in Salesforce and ensure seamless integration with the CLM.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Procurement, and Finance on end-to-end contract workflows and compliance monitoring.Update contract metadata capture from new agreements and renewalsProvide general legal administrative support as needed, including playbook updates, policy management, and internal knowledge base maintenance.Utilize AI to unlock efficiencies in daily work activities and projectsRequired Qualifications
ONE of the following :Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Law, Economics, Computer Science)Paralegal Certification OR Associate's Degree from an ABA-approved program1+ years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or project / business operationsDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage workflows with minimal supervisionExperience with Lexion or similar CLM toolsPreferred Qualifications
Experience managing contracts for SaaS, tech, or higher education organizationsKnowledge of contract law principles, key clauses, and risk allocation strategiesFamiliarity with Salesforce and e-signature tools (Conga Sign, DocuSign, or similar)Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple contract cycles simultaneously across regionsStrong written / verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experienceGlobal contracting exposure, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, or APACProficiency in Microsoft Office and contract data analysisExperience utilizing AI legal toolsReasons to join our Team :

$100,000—$115,000 USD
