Our client in Santa Cruz County, CA is in need of a Internal Medicine Physician for a locum assignment!

Job details :

• ASAP- as soon as credentialed - 6 months to a year
• Shift times : Weekdays : 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, with a 1 hour lunch
• Frequency : Monday Friday, every week- no call, would also consider someone who could do only a few days / week
• Internal Medicine- will consider a strong FP but that is not ideal. FTE : 1.0Duties : Typical IM clinic population average age 70. About half male / female with multiple comorbidities, such as diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, chf, etc
• EMR : Cerner
• Patients per Day : Other providers seeing 12-18 a day depending upon complexity
• Support Staff : MA's, MOR's, APP (one in clinic) and RN assigned to clinic
• Reason for Coverage : Provider Retiring
