• Commit to all requirements of being an educator in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school
• Teach all assigned classes
• Document all syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and other curricular materials
• Work closely with all support staff to develop and implement strategies for all students to be successful
• Implement accommodations for students with learning differences
• Maintain a neat, orderly, aesthetically pleasing, and vibrant learning environment that is inviting, exciting, and nurturing to all students
• Maximize time for instruction and learning
• Manage learner behavior to provide productive learning opportunities
• Reinforce all school rules and expectations in the classroom and on campus
• Maintain communication and relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Implement Tier One, research-based curriculum through best practices in planning, instruction, and assessment
• Hold all students to high expectations for learning, working, and behaving
• Reflect on teaching practice regularly
• Use all pertinent data to drive instruction and assessment
• Participate in professional development at the school level, the IB level, and other opportunities beyond the school to continue to learn and grow as an educator in the 21 st century
