Position Summary
The Porter is responsible for delivering clean and sanitized plateware and glassware to our guests. This position is critical to our guests overall experience as the Porter must ensure the plateware and glassware are clean and stocked for our guests to have a memorable experience.

Maintain proper grooming and uniform standardsAssemble dish machine and pot sinks to prepare for washing dishes, glassware, pots and pansChange water in the dish machine at a minimum every two hours, or earlier if necessary, and replace with fresh water to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitizedEnsure proper water temperature constantlyClean all dishes properly using the dish machine or washing by handCheck all dishes after cleaning to ensure 100% cleanlinessSort clean silverwareOrganize the dish area for efficient use of spaceSweep and mop floors throughout the entire dish area and back of house to maintain a clean environmentCarry boxes and trash from the kitchen to the dumpster mainlining cleanliness throughout restaurantDemonstrate professional and gracious demeanor at all timesPerform all opening, running, and closing duties accuratelyPerform any job function requested by the management teamPosition Qualifications
