Are you ready to make an impact at a Fortune 100 company that powers progress around the world? As an Accountant supporting the Energy & Transportation Segment (E&T), you'll play a key role in delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions across the business.
What You Will Do :
- Financial accounting and reporting for the E&T Segment, including monthly closing tasks, Form M analysis and preparation for Actuals and Forecasts.
- Providing insightful analysis and commentary on relevant financial data and metrics to a variety of business stakeholders across the segment.
- Collaborating with Corporate Forecasting and the Financial Analysis Reporting Group as well as the divisions within Energy & Transportation to meet reporting deadlines and deliverables.
What You Have :
Bachelor's degree concentrated in Accounting or related fields; 3+ years of job-related experienceUnderstanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precisionKnowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problemsUnderstanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviorsKnowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.What Will Set You Apart :

Summary Pay Range : $110,520.00 - $165,840.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
