Director Of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead and optimize our end-to-end revenue operations. This role oversees five specialized teamsIntake, Insurance Authorization, Medical Records, Billing, and Collectionsand is responsible for ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and financial performance across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor five core RCM teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, using data to drive continuous improvement and exceed financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Collaborate with clinical, finance, and IT leadership to align revenue cycle operations with organizational goals.
  • Oversee bad debt write-offs and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or professional certification (CHFP, CPAM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in home health and hospice revenue cycle management.
  • Deep understanding of the full revenue cycle and its impact on patient care and financial health.
  • Expertise in billing, coding (ICD-10, HCPCS), and compliance standards specific to post-acute care.
  • Proficiency in EMR and RCM systems; experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Waystar is a plus.
