As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in Ennis, TX, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within logistics and distribution locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the operations of logistics and distribution environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and report any irregularities or concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as required.
  • Assist with controlling entry and exit of personnel and vehicles at the location.
  • Document and communicate any incidents or observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support a visible security-related presence to help to deter potential risks and promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
