Description :

This position is for a Telemetry Registered Nurse.

The shift is 3x12s, working from 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5.

Every other weekend commitment is required.

No on-call duty is required for this role.

Travelers may need to float within scope to meet facility needs.

The nurse should possess one year of experience in the specialty.

First-time travelers are accepted for this position.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and NIHSS is preferred.

Candidates should have previous experience with Epic charting.

The unit has a daily census of approximately 18 patients.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.

The facility is an acute care hospital with 304 staffed beds.

All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission.

During hurricane season, staff may be assigned to emergency response teams.

Travelers should be aware of this possibility when applying for assignments.
