What You'll Do :

• Assist patients by escorting them to exam rooms
• Obtain vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and more
• Document patient histories and chief complaints in our system
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures (positioning, draping, disinfecting)
• Assist with exams and perform procedures such as EKGs and wound care
• Place leads and perform EKGs
• Conduct ear lavages and remove sutures or staples from superficial wounds
• Apply basic dressings and collect specimens for lab work
• Draw blood and obtain other specimens as ordered by the provider
• Run various lab tests, including CBC, CMP, BMP, and more
• Apply splints and remain flexible for cross-training
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support our mission and values

Position Details :

Full-time

12-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays

Starting pay : $16 / hour and up, depending on experience

What You Bring :

We're looking for someone with a Medical Assistant certification, strong computer skills, and a heart for helping others. Training Requirement :

Newly hired employees may have to participate in a 4-day training session in Texarkana, TX as part of their onboarding process.
