Medical Assistant – Primary Care Support (Long Island, NY)

We are seeking Medical Assistants to support primary care clinics in Riverhead, Shirley, and Southampton, NY. This is a 6-month contract role with both full-time and part-time opportunities—ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic clinical settings and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting physicians and nurses with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical procedures. You’ll help maintain a clean and organized exam environment, manage EMR documentation, and ensure a smooth and professional patient experience from check-in to follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Record patient vital signs and assist with intake
• Collect medical history and symptoms; room patients efficiently
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; sterilize instruments using autoclave
• Assist with clinical procedures and room setup
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service
• Document accurately in EMR systems (Eclinical Works preferred)

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
