Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Ensure that daily receipts and payments are processed in the ledger. Prepare daily cash journal entries and reconciliations. Prepare daily cash forecasts for the Regional Treasury Center for the next 2-10 days. Prepares monthly cashflow reporting as well as monthly forecasting. Uses foreign exchange (FX) contracts to ensure foreign currency will be available on payment dates based on ledger data and coordination with AP department. Issue wire payments. Accept, verify and process incoming check and debit card payments on a timely basis. Make timely and accurately coded deposits of incoming payments. Close the TR ledger on a monthly basis : bank reconciliations, hedging valuation, balance sheet reclassification, interest postings, etc. Maintain internet banking user authorities and access rights. Respond to various internal and external audits.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business management, accounting, auditing or related field. 2 - 5 years of experience in internal or public accounting or equivalent knowledge. In-depth working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with Treasury and / or general ledger accounting preferred. Proficient in all MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access). Highly organized, detail oriented, creative problem solver able to work in a constantly changing environment, excellent communicator. Commitment to professionalism and integrity. Initiative to take control and resolve issues quickly.
