Job Description

As a Security Officer Utilities Unarmed Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help create a welcoming atmosphere while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone onsite. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the utilities location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related needs and support a secure environment at the utilities location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or general education diploma equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
