We count on our Host / Hostess / Greeter for a number of duties. The Host / Hostess / Greeter is responsible for cheerfully greeting the guests, escorting them to their table, providing them with a menu, and answering any preliminary questions.

Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.

Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitre d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.

Host / Hostess / Greeter :

  • Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person also.
  • A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service.
  • Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience.
  • Punctual, patient, and mindful.
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.

Responsibilities :

  • Greeting and seating Guests in timely manner
  • Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations
  • Assisting in cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables for our next guests
  • Performing opening and closing duties
  • Monitoring table rotations.
  • Keeping track of prepared tables for new guests.
  • Answering the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders.
