JOB TITLE : INVENTORY SPECIALIST I

DEPARTMENT : OPERATIONS

REPORTS TO : FLIGHT OPERATIONS INVENTORY LEAD

CLASSIFICATION : NON-EXEMPT

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Inventory Specialist I supports accurate tracking, entry, and organization of inventory records for aircraft fleet operations. This role is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the data tracking systems, ensuring timely updates to parts, maintenance actions, and inventory adjustments. The role will work closely with operations and production team members to maintain data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily data entry and inventory updates in the logistics database
  • Track and perform data entries, inventory updates and maintenance actions in logistic databases
  • Perform routine inventory audits
  • Maintain minimum inventory to support maintenance actions and detachments.
  • Organize digital and physical inventory records in compliance with company processes
  • Assist other departments with the transfer of parts and related documentation as required
  • Report discrepancies or system issues to the leadership as required
  • Follow standard operating procedures and support process improvement efforts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or administrative support
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Comfortable working with Logistic databases and Microsoft Excel
  • Eager to expand knowledge and build technical proficiency
  • Working knowledge of inventory control and tracking systems
  • Ability to follow procedures and be precise with documentation
  • PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree or technical training
  • 2 years of experience in an aerospace / manufacturing inventory control environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Veryon Experience (Previously FlightDocs)
