About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Profession : Surgical Services

Specialty : Operating Room Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in multiple specialties, specifically in Orthopedics, Thoracic, Vascular, and Robotics.

License : Valid Surgical Technologist license

Certifications : Certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Must-Have :

• Robotics, vascular, and thoracic experience.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.
• First-time travelers not accepted.
• Must be able to respond to on-call requirements within 30 minutes.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Description :

This position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in a variety of surgical specialties.

Candidates must have experience specifically in robotics, vascular, thoracic, orthopedics, and trauma cases.

The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30 with on-call requirements for 4-6 calls within a 6-week matrix.

Weekend shifts will be scheduled with 4-6 required within a 6-week matrix, which may include days, evenings, or nights.

Candidates must be prepared to work two of three major holidays with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's.

Candidates may be required to care for COVID patients.

This facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.

It is essential that the candidate has strong surgical skills, including experience with various surgical techniques and instruments.

Candidates should be capable of maintaining high standards of sterile technique and patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Successful candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess their clinical fit before consideration for final decision by management.
