Make a difference as a Processor

As a Full-Time Processor at Barrett Petfood, you'll start your day at 5 : 00 AM, ready to engage in meaningful work that supports our mission of delivering quality pet food. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring production processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining a clean workspace. In this role, you will also assist in quality control checks, ensuring that all products meet our high standards before they reach our customers. Mondays through Fridays are your typical schedule, wrapping up by 1 : 30 PM.

Day to day responsibilities

• Chip frozen meat blocks apart
• Run Meat Blocks through meat processing equipment
• Mix ingredients together
• Add oils as needed per customer specifications
• Clean Meat Room equipment throughout shift and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
• Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
• Use forklift to unload shipments into freezer and stage product for processing when needed
