Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrol Center- Full Time in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for customers and staff. This armed post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and engaging with people to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support security-related needs at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the retail location and around its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual circumstances.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards to help to maintain a secure environment for staff, customers, and property.
  • Interact positively with staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence and upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Follow all company protocols and post orders specific to armed patrol posts within a retail environment.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a combined total of at least three years of law enforcement, military, and / or security-related experience or hold a college degree.
  • Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by applicable state or local regulations.
  • Possess a Level III armed certification if required by Texas state regulations.
  • Have customer service-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
