Job Summary :

We are seeking a part-time licensed psychologist to join our team and conduct compensation and pension exams for veterans in our clinic. As a psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive psychological evaluation for each veteran, including a clinical interview, psychological testing, and review of medical records. You will then report findings via a Disability Benefit Questionnaire. Face to Face (on site) : 3 days / week, Clinic Hours- 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for veterans
  • Review medical records and interview veterans to assess mental health conditions and related impairments
  • Compete DBQs and Independent Medical Records as instructed
  • Work with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for veterans

Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree from an accredited university
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of [State]
  • Experience conducting veteran compensation and pension exams is preferred
  • Excellent clinical and assessment skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
