Security Professional Logistics Access Control Patrol

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Fri 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access points to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and local authorities when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help deter potential security-related threats or unauthorized activities.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
