Job Description
Orthopedic Sports Medicine Physicians Group looking to add a Clinical Research Associate to their team.
Key Responsibilities include :
This role will conduct and manage all aspects of sports medicine clinical trials.
Aid in writing study protocols and grants.Prepare materials and submit proposals for IRB review.Recruit subjects, and obtain consentsManage credentials for study personnelCommunicate with physicians as needed to determine the nature of projects and the scope of work to be performed.Write and edit manuscripts. Prepare manuscripts for submission and publicationCoordinate meeting presentations – deadlines for submission, preparation of presentations, posters, and related projectsSeek and secure funding for sports medicine research from institutions, professional societies, funding agencies (NIH), industry, and charitable organizations.Manage all sports medicine research projects and oversee research assistants. Perform independent research when required. Act as a mentor for trainees (resident, fellow, and medical student) research projects.Conduct literature searches and summarize findingsPerform analysis to ensure the quality of dataCoordinate monthly sports medicine research meetingsDeliver lectures on research methods and statisticsRequest or obtain adequate supplies and space needed to complete research projects.Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years of prior experience as a lead coordinator of clinical trials.Strong skills utilizing Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of clinical practice best practices, FDA, IRB, and HIPAA RegulationsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalTeam player, ability to interact with all levels of people from research subjects to Providers
