Non-Invasive Cardiologist - Altoona, Pennsylvania(Full-Time Established Heart & Vascular Program Excellent Quality of Life)One Physician in 2027 CLINICAL ROLE

  • Join a busy cardiology group with :
  • 2 interventionalists
  • 1 non-invasive cardiologist
  • 2 electrophysiologists
  • 1 heart failure specialist
  • Supported by 4 PAs and 2 nurse practitioners
  • Established outpatient clinic with solid patient base
  • Clinic location : 1.5 miles from Hospital
  • Additional clinic time at nearby Hospital
  • On-site pacemaker clinic
  • Balanced inpatient / outpatient schedule
  • Work Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Call Schedule : 1 : 5
  • Board Certification : Required (or board-eligible if recent graduate) ORGANIZATION HIGHLIGHTS

Part of the UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute

  • Includes vascular and cardiothoracic surgery support
  • Hospital cath lab sees over 3,000 patients annually
  • TAVR and Watchman procedures added in 2019
