Must-Have : Must not be a previous employee. Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.

Description :

The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team.

Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the Post Surgical unit.

The RN will assess patients on admission and throughout their stay.

Patients and their caregivers will be involved in the development and updating of the care plan as necessary throughout the stay.

The RN will administer IV medications, IV therapy, and blood and its components according to clinical standards and policies.

Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints.

Implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusion must be ensured.

Competency must be validated by the agency employing the staff member.

Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.

Holiday coverage is required.
