About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Endocrinology RN

Profession : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience required

License : RN License

Certifications : RN : BLS

Must-Have :

Endocrinology clinic experience is preferred.

Experience with EPIC in an ambulatory clinic is required.

Description :

The role involves supporting endocrinology patients, including those with diabetes and thyroid conditions.

The nurse will be responsible for triage, providing patient education, and managing Epic Ambulatory InBasket work.

Responsibilities include downloading insulin pumps and glucometers, which will require training.

The nurse may also assist with rooming patients as a backup.

Support will be provided by medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and phlebotomy staff.

The clinic has its own lab department for testing.

There is no on-call or holiday expectation for this position.

The dress code includes navy blue scrubs for RNs and light grey scrubs for medical assistants.
