Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Putnam, CT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students across all grade levels. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized speech and language services within a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct prehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique munication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to promote effective munication strategies and support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of munication disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent interpersonal and munication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
