An established civil construction and GC in Belmont ( 94002), CA is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to its team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years with construction accounting and at least 3 years with managing accounting teams.

This position is on-site 5 days a week.

Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for the construction industry? If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a knack for managing financial operations, we want you on our team! We are seeking a Permanent Construction Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure our projects are completed within budget. This role is critical to our success, as you'll be managing all financial aspects of our construction projects from start to finish. You'll work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure financial transparency and accuracy.

Responsibilities :

As the Construction Accounting Manager, you will :

• Oversee all financial operations related to construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage and process pay applications, change orders, and lien waivers.
• Conduct percentage of completion accounting and manage work in progress (WIP) schedules.
• Utilize accounting software such as Timberline, Sage, and Vista Viewpoint to track and report on project financials.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
• Coordinate with clients to process AIA documents and other financial paperwork.
• Review and analyze project costs and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the construction industry.
