Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrols in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. In this driving post, you will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $19.69 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures and provide support during drills or actual emergencies as directed by Allied Universal and / or client protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Certification in CPR and / or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
