FORKLIFT DRIVER

Shipping Group Leader.

• Description :
• Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work related activities as required.
• Responsibilities :
• Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
• May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.
• Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
• Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.

Education :

• High School Degree, GED or higher.

Experience :

• Forklift experience.

Other :

• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Good mathematical skills
• Ability to lift loads up to forty (40) pounds.
