CNA - Surgical Services Pre Op and Recovery

Providence is offering up to $5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. The Nursing Assistant functions within his / her scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan. S / he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s). Following orientation, s / he assumes delegated responsibility which may include (but not be limited to) such tasks as : meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort and safety needs of patients; obtains and reports vitals signs (TPR and BP); performs urine reductions, transports (transfers, discharges) patients; obtains supplies / equipment as necessary from designated departments.

Required Qualifications :

  • Upon hire : Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Perioperative / Hospital experience preferred
