Summary
This position is a combination of Catering Sales and Conference Services. Through the guidance of the Director of Catering & Conference Services and Director of Group Sales this position will sell Food & Beverage and services for groups. In addition, this position is the primary Conference Services contact for all groups.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Includes the following, but not limited to as other duties may be assigned. This position will focus on Catering Business and Conference Services.
- Provides coordination and servicing of convention and group business
- Prospect and solicit new business and maintain repeat client relationships.
- Conducts creative site inspections that deliver an exciting and memorable visit and addresses the clients needs
- Works with and makes recommendations to clients to prepare menus and floor plans and assists them in other needs such as flowers, photographers, and entertainment
- Prepare catering proposals
- Coordinates and services convention business from the time of assignment through meeting dates until final payment of account
- Contribute effective ideas to client strategic planning and analysis processes
- Ensure all activities and services are performed to planned specifications to help ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business
- Responsible for arranging all food & beverage details for functions assigned
- Coordinates and supervises the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverage products of functions to ensure highest quality at all times
- Ensures that all BEOs and paperwork has been completed properly and on a timely basis
- Ensures proper billing to guest folios and master accounts
- Contributes to increase Hotel Revenues by selling above contracted food and beverage minimums and ancillary income sources
- Contribute to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self-performance and / or efficiency of an operation or task
- Works closely with the Banquet Manager
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Holidays and Weekends
- Adheres to all Trump International Beach Resort Safety and Sanitation Guidelines.
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

At least 1 year working in a catering office.Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field desired.REQUIREMENTS
