Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Commission Analyst to manage and administer our sales commission programs. This role will ensure timely and accurate calculation, reporting, and payment of commissions in alignment with plan policies and company objectives. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal to maintain transparency, accuracy, and consistency in our incentive compensation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and process monthly / quarterly sales commissions in accordance with approved compensation plans.
  • Maintain commission data and ensure accuracy across all source systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, payroll).
  • Review compensation plans and ensure proper implementation and compliance with company policies.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to provide clear communication on commission calculations and resolve disputes.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for commission payments, attainment tracking, and plan performance.
  • Support the annual compensation planning and design process, including modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Reconcile commission payments with payroll and accounting records.
  • Drive improvements in automation and process efficiency, including evaluating commission tools or platforms (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Spiff).

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in commission analysis, FP&A, or sales operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.); experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with commission management platforms (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

  • Base Salary Range $70,425 - $117,400 USD
