Payroll Specialist

About the Company :

  • Leading nonprofit organization conveniently located in E. Midtown Manhattan near multiple forms of public transportation
  • Organization's mission focuses on a NYC staple supporting areas like physical and mental health, tourism, wildlife, etc.
  • This role will be key in an implementation of Workday for the organization and would have high visibility to top management
  • Hybrid position, flexible schedule

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist :

  • Assist Director / HR Team on action items needed following implementation of Workday
  • Assistance with Time / Attendance system within Workday
  • Training staff on correct usage of the system / answering user questions
  • Reporting as needed / training staff on best practices
  • Employee data entry

    • Experience Preferred :

  • Minimum 2 years of Workday experience
  • Strong sense of organization & attention to detail
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
