Internal Medicine physician employment in California : Locum Tenens Primary Care Physician OpeningLocation : Irvine, CaliforniaSetting : Outpatient Primary CareStart Date : November 1, 2025 Position Overview :

Assignment length : 13+ weeks, with potential to extend or convert to permanent

Schedule : 4x8-hour shifts (MondayFriday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. with lunch break); possibility for 5-day workweek

Patient volume : 1820 patients per day

Patient population : All ages (must be comfortable seeing pediatrics through geriatrics)

No call or weekend coverage

Procedures : Preferred if provider can perform basic outpatient procedures (e.g., biopsies, sutures)

Support staff includes practice manager, front office supervisor, MAs, and patient care associates

No supervisory responsibilities required Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years of outpatient primary care experience

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Active, unrestricted California medical license

DEA license required

BLS or ACLS certification required

Board certification preferred, but not required
