Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long- and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. The Nurse Manager will play an integral role in helping us to achieve our vision : to consistently exceed expectations and set the standard for excellence in residential and community care.

We are seeking a nurse leader passionate about skilled nursing, seeking to grow, motivate and lead their team of nursing staff and peers to provide quality patient centered care.

Position Overview :

The Nurse Manager provides excellent care through preventive medicine and the ability to detect a potential decline to avoid crisis. This is done through day-to-day involvement, meaningful and purposeful rounding, and impromptu huddles as necessary, utilizing clinical judgment and critical thinking, while engaging all nurses, CNAs, and other disciplines in the process. In a leadership capacity, the Nurse Manager supervises, evaluates guides, instructs and fosters the growth and development of staff through scheduling, work assignments, unit meetings, audits, in-services and corrective action plans to continue to ensure superior care is provided to our residents.
