ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Intermediate Care

Job Details : \n

  • Work on Daly 6B Medical Intermediate Care Unit with 42 beds (21 medical and 21 intermediate care)

    • \n

  • Expected ratios : Intermediate care 1 : 3, Medical 1 : 6

    • \n

  • Handle cases including PNA, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GIB, Sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure

    • \n

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS

    • \n

  • Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPaP, and telemetry

    • \n

  • Work on both medical-telemetry and intermediate care sides of the unit

    • \n

  • Floating to other units may occur at times

    • \n

  • Unit operates as half medical-telemetry and half medical step-down
