Overview

Keystone Mission Solutions is looking for a systems engineer with 10+ years of experience working large RF systems, preferably in the areas of space tracking radar, satellite communications, or electronic warfare. This position requires the ability to develop and assess requirements, perform mission analysis & modeling, and support system performance analysis and testing.

Experience in phased arrays (fixed and steerable) and dish systems is required, as well as knowledge of waveforms and signal processing. Experience with model-based systems engineering is also a key requirement for this position. The candidate must have an existing TS / SCI. The ideal candidate will have the experience and ability to field systems, assess bed down issues, and conduct and support integration and test.

The candidate must be able to analyze the system and RF component design performance and the ability to meet system performance budgets. Specific knowledge of legacy and evolving satellite communications protocols, as used for Tracking Telemetry & Control and relay communications is required. Experience using standard tools such the Matlab tool suites, CST Studio Suite, or similar is required. Candidates must possess a deep mission understanding and technical expertise to support the rapid development of new capabilities for the US Space Force and Intelligence Community. The candidate must have an existing TS / SCI.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess system requirements; perform mission analysis and modeling; support system performance analysis and testing.
  • Apply knowledge of phased arrays (fixed and steerable) and dish systems; assess waveforms and signal processing.
  • Utilize model-based systems engineering methods; support fielding, bed down issues, integration and test activities.
  • Analyze system and RF component design performance and ensure adherence to system performance budgets; understand legacy and evolving satellite communications protocols for TT&C and relay communications.
  • Use tools such as Matlab and CST Studio Suite (or similar) to support design, analysis, and verification.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with large RF systems; preferred experience in space tracking radar, satellite communications, or electronic warfare.
  • Experience with phased arrays (fixed and steerable) and dish systems; knowledge of waveforms and signal processing.
  • Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) experience.
  • Active TS / SCI clearance.
  • Ability to field systems, assess bed down issues, and support integration and test.
  • Knowledge of legacy and evolving satellite communications protocols for TT&C and relay communications.
  • Proficiency with Matlab, CST Studio Suite, or similar tools.

    Denver, CO

    Salary : $110,000 - $140,000
