Childrens Nebraska in affiliation with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine is seeking additional faculty to join our expanding Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition.
Our team includes 11 dedicated faculty, featuring four pediatric hepatologists, with expertise across luminal GI, IBD, hepatology, and nutrition. We are proud to be a clinically active and academically engaged division, deeply involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and committed to advancing care through research and innovation.
We offer robust multidisciplinary programs that include feeding and growth, food hypersensitivity, airway management, parenteral and enteral nutrition, celiac disease, IBD, NASH, intestinal rehabilitation, and liver and multivisceral transplantation. The division hosts ACGME-accredited fellowships in both Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Transplant Hepatology and collaborates closely with the University of Nebraskas renowned liver and intestinal transplant program.

Childrens Nebraska is a 225-bed nonprofit organization caring for children since 1948. Founded by the community and for the community, Childrens is the only full-service, pediatric specialty health center in Nebraska, providing expertise in more than 50 pediatric specialty services to children across a five-state region and beyond. As the regions pediatric healthcare leader, were dedicated to exceptional care, advocacy, research and education. Our state-of-the-art Hubbard Center for Children is home to Nebraskas only Level IV regional Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Fetal Care Center, the states only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, a first-in-the-region Cardiac Care Unit, and more. The Child Health Research Institute, an innovative partnership between UNMC and Nebraska, promotes research in pediatric health, consolidates research in pediatric disease from both hospitals into one institute, and advances knowledge about childhood health and diseases. It was established in 2017 and aims to assist investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science or translational research.
