Shift : 1 st Shift

Location : Longmont, CO

Department : Quality

Salary Range : $65,000 - $90,000

PTA Corporation, a plastic injection molder and tool builder, is an "entrepreneurial" manufacturer whose customers are leaders in the medical device, defense, homeland security, and technology industries including Fortune 500 OEMs. Our business has started to grow dramatically, and we are currently looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary :

This position is responsible for maintaining and improving PTA Corporation's quality management system by conducting audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing process improvements to meet business goals and customer requirements.

• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Procedures, quality policies, and other quality-related documentation and databases.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures.
• Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics, performance data, customer complaints, and audit findings to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Identify areas for improvement in production and quality processes, contribute to the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives.
• Implement and facilitate corrective and preventive actions.
• Train employees on quality control processes, best practices, and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure processes and procedures align with company objectives and industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Work with other departments, management, customers, and suppliers to address quality issues and ensure overall product quality.
