Description : Overview

The Accounting Associate II plays a key role in Koltiv’s finance function, supporting accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational excellence. This role is expected to independently execute assigned responsibilities while owning discrete deliverables. The Accounting Associate II solves routine accounting problems independently and communicates progress clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Accounts Payable

• Independently manage vendor invoice entry with accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, owning the process from issue identification to resolution.
• Execute check, EFT, and credit card payments with minimal oversight.

Sales Tax

Monthly Reconciliations

Accounts Receivable

Leased Equipment

Requirements :

Education & Experience : Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally within a managed services provider (MSP) or technology environment. Solid understanding of GAAP and routine accounting processes.

Skills : Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with proven attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Competencies : Demonstrates reliability, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Exhibits the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines effectively, and exercise independent judgment in routine accounting matters.

Work Environment : This role requires reporting to the Koltiv office. After the training period, there is an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
