Facility Requirements

Specialty : Med Surg RNs accepted (rehab experience preferred, not required)

Experience : 2+ years in specialty required

Travel Experience : Preferred but not required

Certifications : BLS required

Flu Vaccine : Required (no exemptions listed)

Distance Rule : Must live 100+ miles from the facility

Role Description

Rehab RNs care for patients with temporary, progressive, or permanent disabilities / illnesses requiring rehabilitation. Responsibilities include :

Assessing, diagnosing, and creating patient-specific care plans

Collaborating with physicians, pharmacists, PT / OT, and other care providers

Educating patients and families on recovery, self-care, and coping strategies

Supporting patients in setting and achieving recovery goals

Encouraging independence and progress through rehabilitation
